Hastelloy C276 is a nickel-molybdenum-chromium alloy, with the addition of tungsten for improved corrosion resistance. It offers excellent protection against pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. Even in aggressive media such as strong acids, chlorides, and seawater. Its low carbon content minimizes carbide precipitation during welding, maintaining corrosion resistance even in as-welded conditions.
